Let’s start with the most basic prize policy. At MegaBonanza Casino, once you’ve met a 1x playthrough on your Sweeps Coins (i.e., won with them one time), you can redeem the SC for real cash prizes or gift cards. This is what I want to see at every sweeps casino. If it’s anything more than 1x playthrough, the casino is making it too difficult to claim a prize.

This means you can get a gift card for any online shop that partners with Prizeout. Whether you want food, clothes, or entertainment, you’ll be able to find a major brand that works with Prizeout.
As for the 75 SC minimum for a cash prize, this is average among the best sweeps casinos. Sites like Crown Coins and Hello Millions have lowered the bar to 50 SC, while sites like Pulsz and Chumba make you win 100 SC before you can redeem for cash.

Did I get a cash prize?
I wasn’t able to claim a prize at Megabonanza, but I came close!
Here was my process. I give myself $20 and 60 minutes to test every social casino and see how easy or difficult it is to get a prize with some entry level purchase packages and casual gameplay.
I bought the $9.99 first purchase mega offer, which came with 20 free Sweeps Coins, and then another $9.99 package that came with 10 free SC. Then, I headed to Cleopatra Immortal Ways. I like this feature-rich game for trying to multiply my SC balance because the Immortal Ways feature can double or triple your balance, and it’s not terribly hard to hit.
I ended up triggering that feature twice, getting my balance to 35 SC. Still needing to double that in order to claim a prize, I went to Crash Live to see if the multipliers might be in my favor. They were at first (I got up to 62 SC!) and then they weren’t. I pretty much lost it all on a string of crashes under 2x. So goes the delightfully stressful world of Crash.
While I didn’t claim a prize, I am completely convinced that claiming a prize at MegaBonanza is possible. After all, I could watch round after round of Crash Live as my fellow players scored wins of more than 75 SC (the cash prize threshold).
So you know it’s possible. You just need luck on your side.
For context, I do think 35 SC gave me a decent chance of doubling my coins and getting to 75 SC. However, if you want to play slower and try more games at MegaBonanza, I would advise starting with more like 75 SC. That way, you can grind out some 1:1 odds on your bets and try a bunch of different slots.
Megabonanza has a couple of benefits for regular players, though it’s missing the centerpiece of any VIP experience: a loyalty program.

What’s missing from the library?
MegaBonanza does an excellent job of stocking slots and live dealer casino games.
The only things I could really claim it’s missing are classic table games and less common variety games.
There is definitely a subset of social casino players (myself included) who like the old-school video poker and blackjack games run by a computer. But many social casinos have cut them out of their libraries. BetRivers.net and DingDingDing have plenty of those titles if you’re interested.
